Matilda joined JMW in 2019 as a paralegal in the Commercial Litigation department. Following completion of her Training Contract in September 2023, she qualified into the firm’s Contentious Trusts and Probate team.
As part of her role within the team, Matilda specialises in a wide range of will and trust dispute matters including:
- Will validity challenges;
- Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;
- Estate administration disputes including executor removal applications;
- Trust disputes including trustee removal and replacement;
Matilda graduated from the University of Manchester with an LLB law degree in 2018, before completing her LPC in Manchester in 2019.
Outside of work, Matilda enjoys travelling, trying out new restaurants and keeping fit by running and attending Bikram Yoga classes.
