    Glossop Cartons was established in 1982, and is now one of the UK's leading manufacturers of carton board packaging products, servicing blue-chip organisations across the UK.

    JMW advised the Woodall Nicholson Group, which was founded in the 1820's when it specialised in building horse-drawn cabs and carriages, on a buy-out by Mosaic Private Equity, RooGreen Ventures and Enterprise Ventures.

    Libra Chemicals operates from a 2.1 hectare site in Irlam and is a leading manufacturer and distributor of speciality chemicals for industrial, personal care and household care applications.

    The JMW corporate team has advised Steve and Angela Hulme on the acquisition of the business and assets of Trafford Park based Hulme Group Limited.

    The Hulme Group, which specialises in service, repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles, has been acquired by Leyland Holding Company Limited for an undisclosed sum.

    Steve Hulme, managing director of The Hulme Group, commented: "Angela and I are pleased to be part of this larger, stable and growing organisation. Our management team, employees and location provide a solid foundation that can be strategically harnessed and used as a platform for growth."

    JMW has advised Palace Green Finance in setting up bespoke funding facilities aimed at providing financial solutions to the small business market.

    Palace Green Finance was established by entrepreneur, Del Folkes to provide a more flexible cash flow solution to small businesses who may find it difficult to obtain funding from more traditional sources.
