JMW advise Dransfield on further redevelopment at Openshaw

A team led by Real Estate Commercial partner Ian Gordon at JMW Solicitors LLP has again advised Yorkshire based developers Dransfield Properties Limited on various matters relating to the second phase of redevelopment at Lime Square, Openshaw.

Contracts between Openshaw Regeneration Limited (which is part of the Dransfield Properties group) and Manchester City Council have been signed to facilitate the building of the next phase. Work comprises a further 37,000 square feet of retail space adjacent to the Morrisons supermarket which opened in November 2010. Retailers such as B&M Bargains, Poundland, Store Twenty One and Greggs are already committed to retail space in the new development and it is expected that the scheme will be completed by Christmas 2011. Funding has been put in place with Barclays.

Dransfield Properties is a long standing client of JMWs.
