Nick has pioneered data privacy claims. He leads the JMW team representing data breach victims in the ground-breaking case of Various Claimants v Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC. This is the first data breach class action in English legal history. Nick has also acted in cases involving cyber-crime, including hacking.
Nick is often instructed to help keep clients out of the limelight and to protect their reputation. Nick is recommended as being 'calmness personified' and a specialist in handling hostile media coverage (Legal 500). During Nick’s career he has acted in high profile cases, including “phone-hacking” and “super injunction” cases.
