JMW Solicitors are seeking an experienced and motivated fee earner with 1-4 years’ experience of running their own caseload of RTA and EL/PL Portal and non-Portal, fast track cases to join our successful and growing Personal Injury team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to run an existing, mixed caseload made up of Road Traffic Accident (RTA) employers' liability and public liability (EL/PL) Portal and non-Portal, fast track claims. Your other responsibilities will include:
- Financial management of cases and archiving
- Taking responsibility for personal development and CPD training requirements
- Keeping up to date with developments in law and procedure
- Raising the profile of the team by attending relevant events and through engagement on social media
- Supervision of more junior fee earners may be required, depending on your level of experience
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
To succeed in this role, you will have at least 1-4 years’ experience of being self-sufficient and running your own caseload of RTA and EL/PL type Portal and non-Portal, fast track value cases. You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of preparing, planning and effectively running EL/PL and RTA Portal and non-Portal, fast track value cases from inception through to conclusion
- Good working knowledge of the law, principles and practices in relation to Personal Injury work
- Strong legal analysis and research skills
- Business development/marketing/networking experience, including the use of social media to support your role
