JMW Solicitors are searching for a motivated, enthusiastic, committed individual who will thrive in a challenging environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced, dynamic team in a leading law firm. As a junior developer, you will be responsible for supporting our Solution Delivery team in all aspects of the development, testing and implementation of our products.
The junior developer will be working on applications and integration projects with a focus on the firms Proclaim Case Management System, including architecting, developing and troubleshooting workflows, full training on the application will be given, prior knowledge of case management systems is beneficial.
The role will also require you to work closely with our data analyst to assist in developing the firm’s reporting tools, which will utilise a number of applications. Knowledge of T-SQL is important and knowledge of database management systems and architecture is beneficial.
Working closely with lead developers and project managers, you will be taking on development responsibilities to help meet the firm’s business objectives.
You will assist with the maintenance and development of software applications, providing technical support to resolve helpdesk issues and assist end-users where required, and will be responsible for enhancing productivity and supporting numerous business applications.
Candidate Profile & Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will be motivated, keen to learn and a problem solver, with a 2:1 grade or above in IT/Computing or a relevant degree.
Full training will be provided with the intention to enhance your skill set and allow you to grow alongside the firm.
The following skills are required:
- Knowledge of RDBMS
- Creating/maintaining T-SQL queries
- Microsoft SQL server systems
- Knowledge of API’s
- Problem solving
- Communication skills
- Programming languages (C#, Javascript, Powershell, Python) beneficial but not essential
