JMW Solicitors are seeking lawyer and cycling enthusiast with 3+ years’ PQE to help build the reputation of their already successful cycling team.

Applications from all levels of seniority will be considered, but your ideas and enthusiasm to raise the profile of the team will be an important factor.

The role

This role offers a unique opportunity to carve yourself a niche at a top ranked Personal injury firm and work alongside recognised, top class lawyers who are passionate and dedicated in their work to secure compensation for cyclists who have often suffered complex injuries as a result of accidents. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • running an existing, mixed caseload of road traffic accidents (RTA) and public liability cycling claims. 
  • raising the profile of the team by attending relevant events, liaising with local cycling clubs and engagement on social media.
  • supervision of more junior fee earners may be required, depending on your level of experience.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will be a Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ post qualification experience (PQE). You should also be able to demonstrate: 

  • Cycling experience (ideally be a club member) and/or have relevant contacts within the cycling community.
  • experience of litigated cycling accident claims work.
  • the ability to actively manage cases to settlement or trial.
  • capability for generating ideas to further raise the profile of the team within the cycling community.
