As an innovative and entrepreneurial top 100 law Firm we are now looking to appoint a dedicated Digital & Social Media Manager to our dynamic and forward thinking marketing team. In this role the individual will be responsible for all social media accounts including paid campaigns across all social channels, creating compelling and on brand content(to include videos and podcasts) and a well structured social media calendar that builds the brand further.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to collaborate across the firm to produce compelling and creative digital content as well as focusing on paid social opportunities for lead generation.

The purpose of this role is to track and optimise a digital marketing strategy to maximise reach, conversions, and engagement by encouraging customers to the website. The successful candidate must therefore have previous extensive experience of working on social media strategy and achieving KPIs and lead generation through paid social.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES

1.     Establish, drive and manage a coherent integrated social media strategy, using the full mix of digital acquisition techniques. Must have extensive experience of paid social media, display & programmatics, influencer & partner marketing across all social media channels (both paid and organic).

2.     To have a focus on lead generation through all social media channels for a variety of legal services.

3.     Develop and maintain a well-structured creative social media calendar focusing primarily on LinkedIn, X and Instagram to build brand engagement and income streams. There is also the opportunity to expand into TikTok and You Tube.

4.     Creating compelling copy and content for all social media channels to ensure consistency with our brand and tone across the firm.

5.     Filming timely videos or podcasts on pressing legal topics and breaking news.  Liaising with the internal legal teams on suitable topics and editing the content to go live on the JMW website and shared on social channels in a timely manner.

6.     Capturing video and imagery content for significant events and campaigns the firm is running.

7.     Fully understand JMW’s target audience across the whole firm on the main social media channels and execute creative social media campaigns to appeal to them.

8.     Analyse the success of campaigns, translating data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaign activities. Monitor and optimise campaign progress regularly and produce reports during and after campaigns to show the success. Must be able to demonstrate ROI on all paid campaigns executed. 

9.     Utilising automation platforms for the seamless execution of content across all channels, and strategically scheduling content releases for maximum reach (sprout social is currently used).

10.  Manage partnerships with influencers / ambassadors when required and source new partnerships and ensure such relationships provide the necessary ROI.

11.  Work closely with the Marketing Managers in both Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence to create engaging and effective social media campaigns by utilising video, influencers and paid social with the aim to generate leads.

12.  Implement a creative content calendar for Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury departments.

13.  Work closely alongside the Senior Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing plus JMW’s retained digital agency (I-COM) to ensure all digital campaigns are aligned.

14.  Monitor competitor activity and responding accordingly.

 SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:.

1.     Minimum of 4 years +  proven social media marketing experience in a similar social media role, either B2B or B2C.

2.     Highly experienced in delivering both organic and paid social media activity and campaigns.

3.     To have experience on reporting on KPIs and ROI in lead generation for successful social media campaigns and be able to demonstrate this experience.

4.     Understand how organic content can also support any paid campaigns.

5.     Excellent experience in managing multiple social media channels and in developing effective and creative social media strategies and campaigns.

6.     Proficient in creative content creation across various platforms including experience of using tools such as Canva and the ability undertake video and podcast filming and editing.

7.     Experience of executing influencer campaigns.

8.     Experienced in using analytics and monitoring to report on the success of both organic and especially paid social campaigns and the ability to compile reports to make informed recommendations and show ROI.

9.     Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently in a corporate setting.

10. Adaptable and comfortable working with changing priorities and deadlines.
