Ben is a Solicitor in the Banking & Finance team, advising banks, alternative lenders, borrowers and sponsors on a broad range of UK and cross-border financing transactions. His practice encompasses real estate finance, bridging finance, corporate acquisition finance, restructuring and funding line facilities. He advises clients throughout the lifecycle of a transaction, from structuring and due diligence through to completion, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice tailored to their objectives.
Ben has significant experience acting for security agents, facility agents and loan servicers on syndicated and bilateral lending transactions. He advises on agency and security agency arrangements, intercreditor issues, agency provisions and the ongoing administration of financing structures. Having completed a client secondment with a leading global loan servicer and administrator, he has developed valuable insight into the position of loan agents and servicers, cross-jurisdictional transactions and the practical considerations involved in complex financings.

Ben trained and qualified at JMW and has been with the firm since 2022. Prior to joining JMW, he has worked at Linklaters and PwC, where he advised on loan portfolios, financial products and commercial disputes.
