Edwin joined JMW in 2023.
Edwin is, unusually for a solicitor, also a Chartered Accountant (FCA 2003). He has over 30 years’ experience in private equity, venture and development capital, acquisitions and disposals, equity capital markets and all matters corporate. Edwin spent more than a decade as a principal investor at UBS Capital.
Recent deals include:
- Advising TechMet on its USD 200 million fundraise including a significant investment by the United States International Development Finance Corporation, an agency of the US Government.
- Advising CRUX Asset Management on an investment by Stephens Investment Banking.
- Advising TechMet on its GBP 18 million investment in Cornish Lithium plc.
- Advising the management team of XVR Simulation and LearnPro on the MBO by Apiary Capital.
- Advising TechMet on its various rounds of investment in Brazilian Nickel and the Piauí Nickel Project.
- Advising Kudos Innovations on its Series A5 investment round.
- Advising TechMet on its option agreement with Rainbow Rare Earths for investment in the Phalaborwa rare earths project.
- Advising the shareholders of Italian Realfoods on their sale of the Company, including the Seggiano and Lunaio brands, to Certified Origins.
