James is a Solicitor in London's Corporate department.

James focuses on acquisitions, corporate restructurings and equity investment structuring. For acquisitions, he has acted for both buyers and sellers on owner-managed share sales, roll-up acquisitions and search funds across a variety of industries for small and medium sized businesses.

James provides advice for corporate restructurings through share-for-share exchanges and capital reductions to assist clients with risk and financial allocation and pre-acquisition structuring. James offers equity investment structuring through tailored shareholders’ agreements and bespoke articles of association to assist in governing investor rights.

James studied Business Management at the University of Leeds and went on to complete a law conversion and the LPC at BPP University. James completed his training contract at JMW, obtaining experience in Intellectual Property, Property Litigation and Commercial Litigation prior to qualifying into the Corporate department.

Outside of work, James enjoys an active lifestyle by running and playing tennis. He is also a keen football fan, supporting Liverpool football club.
