Kate joined JMW in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor in the Manchester office. She graduated from the University of Leeds in 2019, with a 2:1 in Law. During her third year, Kate studied abroad at Queensland University of Technology, in Australia. She completed the LPC with LLM at the University of Law in Manchester, achieving a Distinction.
Kate previously worked as a Paralegal in the Catastrophic Personal Injury department at DWF, where she assisted on high-value employer’s liability, public liability, and motor claims. Kate also worked at Slater and Gordon Lawyers as a Group Litigation Paralegal.
In addition, Kate previously volunteered at the Personal Support Unit, where she provided emotional and practical support to unrepresented individuals throughout the court process. She was also a member of the Amnesty International society throughout university.
Outside of work, Kate loves to travel, with her favourite place so far being either New Zealand or Vietnam! She also loves trying out different restaurants and bars with family and friends.
