Lara joined JMW is September 2023 as a Paralegal in the Family Department, before commencing her Solicitor Apprenticeship in September 2025.
During her time in the Family Department, Lara had exposure to complex divorce cases involving corporate structures, trusts and substantial family wealth. She also gained experience in asset protection work, including pre- and post-nuptial agreements, as well as international cases involving multiple jurisdictions.
Lara graduated from the University of Leeds in 2023 with a First-Class LLB (Hons) Law Degree. She is currently studying for the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) alongside working.
In her free time, Lara enjoys running and long walks in the Peak District with her dog. She also loves to spend time with her friends, and they enjoy travelling together.
