Laura is a Solicitor in the Family team at JMW Solicitors. Laura specialises in financial remedy proceedings and has a particular interest in cases with elements on non disclosure or the attempted concealing of assets. Laura also assists clients in children proceedings, to assist families in finding their ""new normal"" post separation. Laura runs a varied caseload and can also assist with wealth protection, such as Pre and Post Nuptial agreements.

Laura joined JMW in July 2021 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2024. Laura has acted for a range of clients with a range of asset bases, from clients with a modest asset base wanting to resolve matters as quickly and as cost efficiently as possible, to high net work cases with complex legal issues.

Laura's approach is pragmatic, robust but with a caring attitude towards clients, particularly in such a vulnerable stage of their lives. Laura is empathetic with clients but also commercial in her approach and will cut through the issues on a case to ensure matters are focused on achieving a settlement.

Outside of work Laura is a keen runner and enjoys spending time outdoors in her local area around Saddleworth. She likes to travel and spends as much time with family as possible.
