Lily joined JMW in January 2022 as a paralegal in the Business Crime and Regulation team. She then started her training as an Apprentice Solicitor in the Business Crime and Regulation team in August 2023.

Lily has extensive knowledge of criminal litigation, working in both defence and private prosecutions. She has also has gained experience in regulatory work, with a particular focus on police misconduct. Whilst working as a paralegal, Lily developed a specialism in assisting clients with the removal of Cifas markers.

Lily graduated from the University of Sussex in 2019 with a 1st in Law LLB. She then went on to complete the Bar Practice Course LLM at the University of Law in 2020, where she obtained a Distinction, and was called to the Bar in March 2022. Prior to joining JMW, Lily worked as a family paralegal, where she primarily undertook private and public child law work.

During her studies, Lily volunteered at two family advice centres. She also worked as a legal assistant to a barrister alongside completing the Bar Course.

Outside of work, Lily enjoys yoga and walking – having completed a 100km charity walk from London to Brighton with two of her colleagues at JMW in May 2023.
