Lydia previously worked at JMW between February 2023 and May 2025 as a Paralegal in the Employment department. During this time, Lydia supported fee earners with a variety of matters, including litigation, advisory, and corporate-support work.
In 2025, Lydia briefly moved to an international law firm to work as an Employment Adviser, being responsible for the day-to-day conduct and management of Employment Tribunal matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing claims.
In March 2026, Lydia rejoined JMW as a Trainee Solicitor in the Employment department.
Lydia has a wide range of experience in dealing with various employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious, including:
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Drafting contractual and policy documentation
- Corporate support work
Lydia completed her Law degree at the University of Leicester in 2020 and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Terrorism, Security and Policing in 2021. Lydia also has previous experience working in HR for a large employment consultancy business.
Outside of work, Lydia is a long-suffering supporter of Preston North End, enjoys travelling, and playing netball.
