Oliver is a corporate partner based in London, having joined the firm in April 2026 from Norton Rose Fulbright. He focuses on cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments and exits and general corporate and commercial transactions.
Oliver has practiced law in South Africa, Australia and more recently the UK. He speaks English and French.
Oliver has been recognised in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (Australia) publication from 2022 to 2025 publications for his work in M&A and corporate law.

Oliver’s recent work highlights include:
- Acting for Samsung Fire Marine Co. Ltd on its USD 570 million acquisition of additional equity in the Canopius Group from US private equity firm, Centrebridge
- Acting for Dapper Labs on its acquisition of NFT gaming development agency
- Acting for shareholders of Seertech Solutions Software on their AUD 180 million sale to leading Australia private equity firm, Quadrant Private Equity Fund
- Acting for the shareholders of Braemac (leading semiconductor manufacturer) on their AUD 250 million sale to Berkshire Hathaway (acting through Exponential Technology Group and TTI Inc)
- Acting for Parkland Corporation (TSX: PKI) on its joint venture arrangement with the Lomar Group for the construction of four 10,000 DWT oil tankers
- Acting for international financial services business listed on the Italian stock exchange on their acquisition of more than 15 financial services and accounting firms in Australia
