Tom has experience in a wide range of corporate and personal insolvency matters, including:
- Advising office holders in connection with claims such as the recovery of DLA balances, transactions at an undervalue, preferences, and breach of duties;
- Advising banks, lenders, and appointed receivers in respect of security positions and enforcement options, including statutory demands, winding-up proceedings, bankruptcy, and possession proceedings;
- Preparing court applications, including possession proceedings, applications for an order for sale, fixing the basis of and/or increasing office holder remuneration, and applications to restore dissolved companies to the register.
Tom graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with an LLB in 2015 and completed his LPC there the following year. Tom started his career as a Paralegal at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer before training and qualifying at a niche commercial law firm in Manchester.
