Commercial Litigation

Holly joined the Commercial Litigation Department at JMW in September 2016 and has particular experience advising clients in relation to:

  • Directors’ Disqualification proceedings;
  • Claims arising out of company insolvency and bankruptcy;
  • Breach of directors’ duties; and
  • General contractual and commercial disputes.

After a career spanning six years as a radio broadcast journalist and presenter, Holly completed the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2009 and then the LPC in 2010, subsequently achieving a qualifying first class law degree at Nottingham Law School.

Shortly after qualifying as a solicitor in 2012 specialising in Insolvency Litigation at Freeths Solicitors in Manchester, Holly went on to join Gowling WLG in Birmingham in June 2013, where she acted for the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills in bringing disqualification proceedings against company directors, as well as winding up companies in the public interest.

In her spare time Holly enjoys dishing out her own justice on the netball court. She also relishes taking on a challenge, and has completed a number of half-marathons.
