Amélie joined JMW in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor before qualifying into the Family department as a Solicitor in September 2024.

Amélie has experience in a range of Family Law matters, namely:

  • Divorce and associated financial matters, in particular high-value/complex financial cases;
  • Disputes and negotiation in respect of child arrangements;
  • Enforcement of financial orders / orders for spousal maintenance;
  • Cases involving international elements, including where translation and/or liaising with foreign lawyers is required.

Amélie graduated from the University of Cambridge (Pembroke College) in 2020 with a 2:1 law degree and obtained her LPC LLM with distinction from BPP Law School Cambridge in 2021. Before joining JMW Amélie worked for 6 months in the M&A department of BDGS Associés, a French commercial law firm in Paris. During her time as a Trainee at JMW Amélie also completed seats in the Clinical Negligence and Business, Crime & Regulatory departments.

In her spare time, Amélie enjoys swimming, reading, writing, and travelling, particularly to her various countries of origin. She also volunteers with children in care through Coram.
