Amelie is a Solicitor in JMW's Family Department.

Prior to joining JMW she worked in M&A in a French law firm in Paris. She joined JMW in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified into the Family team in September 2024.

Amelie works across a wide range of Private Family Law matters, namely:

• Voluntary and court-based financial settlements, including high-value/complex financial cases
• Voluntary and court-based child arrangements
• Prenuptial agreements, including drafting agreements and advising on contested agreements
• Cases involving international elements

Amelie works with clients from all walks of life. Clients respond well to Amelie's detail-oriented and pragmatic approach as well as her personable and straightforward advice.

Amelie comes from an international background and received her legal education at the University of Cambridge and BPP Law School.

Amelie was part of the team working on the case of Entwistle v Helliwell [2025] EWCA Civ 1071 - a Court of Appeal case in relation to the setting aside of a prenuptial agreement due to non-disclosure of assets.

Outside of work, Amelie is an avid reader and cinephile and likes to partake in creative projects. In her time off, she enjoys hiking and/or swimming through the Peak and Lake Districts and travelling across the world. She speaks English, French and Afrikaans fluently as well as conversational Spanish and German.
