Elspeth joined JMW in May 2018 and is a Partner and Joint Head of the Family Team.
Elspeth has particular experience in:
- Separation and divorce;
- Complex financial settlements on divorce involving corporate structures, pensions and trusts;
- Arrangements for children including how much time should be spent with each parent, as well as specific issues such as place of education and funding of school fees, choice of name and welfare of a child;
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements;
- Variation and/or enforcement of existing court orders;
- Setting aside court orders on grounds of material non-disclosure;
- Applications for protection from controlling and coercive behaviour.
Elspeth is known for her calm and empathic client care, coupled with assertive, robust and strategic execution of each client’s case.
