Georgie joined JMW in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor.
Prior to this, Georgie graduated from King’s College London with a 1:1 law degree and Université Panthéon-Assas with a 1:1 French law degree. She then went on to study the LPC with Masters at BPP University in Manchester, with electives in Private Acquisitions, Corporate Finance and Commercial Law and Intellectual Property.
Prior to joining JMW, Georgie worked in house at JDE Peet’s in both London and Paris as a Junior Legal Manager. During this time, she acquired experience in a range of matters including corporate housekeeping, marketing, commercial contract drafting and negotiations and data protection.
Georgie also runs a networking group that supports the retention of female lawyers in the profession, Female Lawyers Breakfast Networking (FLBN) Manchester, and is involved in the franchising world via Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWiF).
Outside of work, Georgie enjoys hitting the gym, having recently started CrossFit. She also speaks French and enjoys tutoring French A-level.
