Katherine joined JMW in October 2022 and is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Department.
Katherine has a wide range of experience across a broad range of commercial litigation matters on behalf of both corporate and individual clients.
Katherine has particular experience in:
- Public law, judicial reviews in the following sectors:
- Police law
- Healthcare
- Education
- Commercial and planning law
- General commercial and contractual disputes, high value and complex claims in the High Court;
- Injunctions including springboard injunctions and protection from harassment;
- Defamation, reputation management;
- Intellectual property matters including data protection and breach of confidence.
Katherine graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Scots Law in 2012 and thereafter worked in Fashion PR and events in London for a short time. After moving to Manchester, she completed her GDL whilst working as a paralegal and thereafter obtained Distinction in her LPC whilst completing her training contract, qualifying in 2018.
Outside of work, Katherine is an avid Manchester United fan regularly attending home games. When not watching football, she enjoys good food and wine with family and friends.
