• Clearance searches - we carry out tailored clearance searches in your chosen territories for earlier marks that may pose an obstacle to your application, and provide practical advice on managing risk.  Reports can typically be delivered in just a few days.
• International filings - we prepare and file international trade mark applications either through the centralised ‘Madrid Protocol’ system, or directly in individual territories using our network of overseas trade mark attorneys.
• Examination - if an overseas registry raises an objection against your international application, we provide clear advice on your options and manage responses in conjunction with local attorneys where required.
• Oppositions - if a third party files an opposition against your application, we coordinate with our overseas attorneys to manage the dispute efficiently and robustly to protect your position.
• Ongoing management - once registered, we manage your trade mark portfolio, including handling renewals and operating a ‘watch’ service to identify new trade mark applications similar to your brands.
