Zuber Bapu, 31, and his wife Halima Gajra, 30, claim their son Jaudaan, now five, has been left with cerebral palsy, difficulty hearing, walking and speaking, because a midwife failed to act on their concerns.

When Jaudaan was two days old his skin became yellow which his parents said they pointed out to a community midwife when she visited their home in Fishwick View, Fishwick, Preston.

But they claim she told them to put him in the sun and offered no further advice. By the time she returned the next day they say his condition had deteriorated and he was rushed to Royal Preston Hospital.......

Melissa Gardner of JMW is representing Jaudaan and his family. Read the full story on the Lancashire Evening Post website (external link).
