Bill joined JMW in June 2025 from Howes Percival LLP. Bill is a specialist property litigation solicitor who advises on a wide range of contentious property issues relating to residential, commercial and development land. Bill also has a focus on insolvency related property litigation. Bill’s experience includes:

  • Commercial landlord and tenant work, including contested and non-contested lease renewals, dilapidations, breaches of covenant, forfeiture and contested applications for landlord’s consent
  • Adverse possession claims
  • Restrictive covenants relating to property, including claims for injunctions
  • Residential lease extensions, collective enfranchisement and Section 5 - Right of First Refusal
  • The Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 claims
  • Boundary disputes
  • Professional negligence claims relating to property transactions
  • Rectification and title disputes
  • Property contract disputes, including conditional contracts, option agreements and overage agreements

Bill acts for a broad range of clients including institutional landlords, commercial tenants, developers, landowners individuals and insolvency practitioners.
