Kishen joined JMW in March 2024 as a solicitor in the Property Litigation Team.
Prior to JMW, Kishen qualified at a prominent Bedford based firm then moved to a leading Legal 500 and Tier 1 Chambers firm.
Kishen has a continually developing practice area which covers a broad range of property litigation matters, including but not limited to:
- Adverse possession (registered and unregistered land);
- Boundary disputes, rights of way and easement disputes, trespass and neighbour disputes;
- Matters under the Building Safety Act 2022;
- Matters under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 (commercial lease renewal and termination);
- Residential and commercial asset management (repossession, forfeiture, breach of covenant, deposit protection disputes, debt recovery and break notices);
- Matters under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 (section 20 consultation requirements and process);
- Matters under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 (section 5 notices); and
- Professional negligence.
Kishen regularly acts on behalf of private individuals, residential and commercial landlords and tenants, high net-worth individuals and national and multinational companies.
Before joining JMW, Kishen regularly represented his clients at repossession hearings in the County Court.
